Funcle's started with a simple belief: Hamden deserves a café where the coffee is excellent, the food is honest, and you're treated like a regular from your very first visit.

Every morning starts the same way — beans ground fresh, dough proofed overnight pulled out of the oven, eggs cracked to order. We work with local roasters and producers whenever we can, because we believe the best café is one that supports the community around it.
